You work hard and are tuckered out after a long day! Let your dog have fun, exercise, play with us and you can both relax when you get home!
Refresher work is available on Monday through Friday.
Your dog will get the all the perks of socializing with the other daycare dogs AND will receive 60 minutes of training (either two 30 minute sessions or one 60 minute session).
*Prerequisite- Your dog must have had some sort of baseline training with us: home visit or one of our training programs
Your dog's day will consist of playtime, structure and leadership work and lots of socializing with other dogs! They will rotate between several play yards and socialize with dogs that match their energy level. They'll get to exercise and play while you enjoy your time away! We have 5 separate outdoor fenced in areas along with walking trails, which will allow for separation when needed. In addition, we have our new 2,200 square foot indoor facility, ideal for indoor training and play on rainy days.
This 7 Day program is the perfect solution for the dog owner that is looking for an Intro to E-Collar training Program that digs into the always needed recall, a stress-free heel and a calm relaxed Place command (Think OFF switch) without their dog doing the overnight option. These three commands are the foundation/framework of all obedience work done here at Doggieology101. They are the stepping stones that allow our clients to develop a deeper connection while incorporating a command structure with their dog. We specialize in low level communication-style ECollar Training. Our unique training approach honors their instincts and psychology through masterful leadership then teach obedience through a variety of tools/leashes/collars that further communicate what we want. We also incorporate our extraordinary outdoor daycare experience for those that choose the all-day option!
There will be a strong component of owner commitment to maintain and reinforce the lessons, structure and commands so the dog can retain what was learned and potentially expand his/her ecollar communication repertoire in the future.
Skills Taught:
- Heel Place (The Sit and Down command is an added benefit because it's a requirement for Place)
- Beginning Recall
- Beginning Come With Me (Dog walks within your orbit)
Program Details:
- Drop your dog off for 7 consecutive days AT our facility at the scheduled time and pick up your dog at the end of the day.
What's Included?
- Mini Educator E-Collar ET300
- Herm-Spreger Prong Collar or Transitional Leash Coolaroo
- Cot to fit your dog (70 pounds or less)
- Two- 90-120 minute go-home sessions to teach/transfer info
- One- 60 minute follow up session
***This program is for dogs that do not have any serious issues regarding resource guarding, aggression with other dogs, other animals or humans. If your dog is showing signs of these issues, they may fall outside the scope of the program and you should contact us to discuss before signing up.

This session will start you out with the basics on how to communicate effectively and provide clarity through direction, guidance and leadership so your starts deferring to you and the training instead of to their impulses for decision-making. We'll address state of mind and get you on the road towards having that calm, relaxed dog that you'll be able to take anywhere!
Our In-Home Training Program is perfect for dogs who are impulsive, over-excited, have poor manners, leash reactive on the walk, or are general chuckleheads! The home visit is also fantastic for people bringing home a new puppy, rescue or older dog into the home and want to set up the new rules and structure in order to prevent problematic issues.
Here's how it works: We'll either come to your home or you can come to our facility and we'll teach you simple effective techniques that create a strong healthy relationship with your dog. Dogs function best when given clear direction, guidance and structure that define the boundaries and limitations of their environment. The focus of this visit lies in teaching you how to effectively communicate with your dog and show you how to get your dog deferring to you and the training instead of to their impulses for decision-making. We will teach you how to create rules, boundaries and structure in a way they understand, then show you how to extinguish old toxic behaviors and put new healthy patterns into place. With you firmly in this leadership role and the mindset that goes with it, we'll head you in the right direction with the training and the tools that work best with your dog. You'll be on your way to achieving all your training goals!
